What the Rittenhouse Prosecution Means

Big win for the left regardless of verdict

The verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial is due at any moment—yet in some respects, it hardly matters. Of course, the verdict is of vital importance to Rittenhouse himself, and to his friends and family. But for all of those in America who have a vested interest in protecting themselves, their families, and their homes and business from the ravages of lawless marauders, the Rittenhouse trial is a thorough and absolute catastrophe—and this is true even if Rittenhouse is cleared of all counts. The very fact that there was a trial at all was a huge victory for the left—because it sends a message to the rest of the country that if, in the attempt to save your person from violent rioting thugs, you end up killing one or several of them, you put yourself in grave legal risk—for the justice system, if controlled by the left, will do everything in its power to indict, convict, and send you to prison for the rest of your life. Now who would want to take that kind of risk? Not to mention that the cost of mounting your defensel will likely bankrupt you; that the mainstream media will lie about you and claim, not only that you are a murderer, but that you are a white supremacist Nazi into the bargain; that the prosecution will attempt to conceal potential evidence that might exonerate you and the judge will do little if anything about it; that the jury pool will be contaminated against you by the mainstream media and big tech; and that the very marauders who sought to injure and perhaps kill you will issue threats against the jurors if they should have the temerity to have you acquitted. What the Rittenhouse trial is ultimately about is not the right to self-defense, but the right of lawless hoodlums to inflict violence on the citizenry with complete immunity. The purpose of the Rittenhouse prosecution is to make the world safe for thuggery and lawless violence. It is an attack on civilization itself—an alarmingly successful attack, if not otherwise, and if you live in any city dominated by the left, neither your life or livelihood is safe. Once more we have evidence that the left hates us and wants bad things to happen to us.
